No BREAD&BUTTER? No Party

After thirteen edition, this year i won't be attending Bread&Butter fair in Berlin. From the business point of view is a big relief: i'll avoid lots of work, long hours (with high heels), tons of requests, demanding peolple, hordes of vendors. From the entertainment point of view is going to be a great loss: i love to party, go to concerts, exhibitions, shop openings and above all to meet people. And during this fair the city offers any fun you can have. The crowd will miss me. For sure.

Happy 2012 from San Martino

I am not a fanatic of the mountains but every time i visit the Dolomites, i truly enjoy their beauty. Here few shots from San Martino di Castrozza where i spent the last days of the year and welcomed 2012. Little snow this time but lots of huts to eat local specialties and enjoy music with friends.

MTV EMA 2011

I am just back from Belfast and from my 5th MTV EMA. After Edinburgh, Rome, Lisbon and Copenhagen, it has been the turn of Belfast. This city amazed me for its friendly people and great liveliness all around. Organizing hotels and transfers for more than 100 people made my days really busy and hectic but the excitement for the life backstage with all the big artists of the Emas made me dream. Loved the crazy teenagers with their Justin Bieber-mania and the lady i met by chance at a busy cross road that wanted so much a ticket for her young daughter and started crying when i gave her my spare one. Happyness. The show on sunday night was unforgettable (streaker included) and had a fun time at the after-show just after. Lucky me - once again - for having the chance to live such an amazing adventure!

Berlin I ♥ YOU

I am just back from a week in Berlin. I love the city in summertime, so lively, so cool, so full of unexpected places, events and things to do. Had a lovely stay at Amano hotel with its the rooftop terrace and the asian BBQ. Enjoyed the Super Nights at Bread&Butter fair, Tempelhop airport is such an amazing location, perfect for an open air party. Loved Sibylle Bergemann's polaroids exhibition at CO-Berlin: strange enough the video about the photographer was just in german... make it hard also for me to understand it but she was such a fascinating character. Planning my next trip there for the music week, amazing line up this season!

Calvi On The Rocks

Calvi On The Rocks is a 6 days festival, a hybrid of electronic and pop music: during the day people can sunbathe and listen to dj set on the local beaches. Forget outdoor events that can be hard work in the rain, Calvi is on a beautiful French Mediterranean Island called Corsica where the sky is always blue and the sun shining. A new must-see festival!

Belgrade

Landing in town, the first thing you see from the plane is the river Sava with thousand of small charming houseboats. Belgrade today is one of the most interesting and attractive cities in the Balkans, despite the devastating wars that have rocked the region. A place that combines history with cultural life: vivid, young and modern. An with a great exquisite gastronomic culture. Belgrade means 'white city'.

Fashion Rocks in 2008. And now.

This beautiful editorial shot by Steven Meisel was originally published by Fashion Rocks in August 2008. It features Dhani Harrison (son of George, legend leader of the Beatles) and model Sasha Pivovarova styled by Edward Enniful for the launch of its first album with the band TheNewNo2. Singular work for Meisel but we still like this story and the strong hippy mood.

Bread & Butter Berlin 2011, Opening Party

Burlesque Show by Ginger Synne and Vicky Butterfl, Black Jack and three live boxing fights Boxing at the Bread & Butter Opening Party one week ago, what a night! This season’s motto “ABSOLUTE” promised high quality fun and the “Absolute Cotton Club” revived the 20´s with a wild, sexy and vibrant program.
Gangster, diva, dandy, gigolo, bohemian: in the style of Richard Gere and Diane Lane, the dress code was to be decadent and extremely glamorous! Once again, the BBB party was amazing!
